Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Data Migration Consultant – HCM Consultant to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis for 6 to 12 months with possible extension. They offer stability, growth, competitive rates and an excellent working environment.

Data Migration Consultant is a Data Expert who will work with clients to migrate, re-engineer and optimize their business data. You''ll have extensive experience in the following areas: * Oracle/MySQL Administration * Database design & Development * Master Data Management (MDM) - People, Organisations & Processes including BIM (Business Information Management), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), HCM (Human Capital Management), etc.

Requirements

• Manage, facilitate and drive the extraction criteria, data cleansing, object mapping, field mapping and value mapping for the ETL process.
• Manage, facilitate and drive the filling in of any templates by the Business for the Construct process
• Facilitate Issue resolution where there are load errors (defects logged in DevOps)
• Status reporting per functional area
• D365 HCM Functional and Data Migration Experience
• SAP HR Functional and Data Migration experience
• General Data Migration experience - techniques (ETL – extract, transform, load), data cleansing, object mapping, field mapping, value mapping, data validation, understanding of reference/master/transaction data in this area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field required
• Strong background in the use of HCM/SCM systems, ERP, and CRM tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
