We are recruiting for a Data Scientist!

POSITION INFO:
My client is a fast-growing consulting firm offering risk assurance, actuarial, accounting, and analytics services. They are looking for a sharp, driven Data Scientist to join their Analytics & Insights team and help turn complex data into actionable strategies for their clients.

Duties:

Clean, explore, and analyse large financial datasets (banks, insurers, and investments).
Use Python, R or SAS to uncover insights and support decision-making.
Build and implement predictive models and machine learning solutions.
Visualize data insights clearly for both technical and non-technical teams.
Collaborate across teams to support financial consulting projects and reports.
Keep learning through workshops, training, and a personal development plan.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- Master’s in Data Science or Analytics (PhD in progress is a plus).
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in data science and machine learning (bonus).
- Solid Python or R skills; comfort with libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with cloud (AWS, and Azure), big data (Spark, and Hadoop), and BI tools (Tableau, and Power BI).
- Understanding of financial modelling, ML, deep learning, and statistical analysis.
