JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements EDUCATION

Medical Degree EXPERIENCE.
Preferably 1-2 years experience as a detail rep in the pharmaceutical industry

SKILLS/PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES

Computer Literate
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office

Good interpersonal skills

Key Performance Area (Core essential responsibilities-outputs of position) 1 Call Rate:

Achieve 11 calls per day
Daily appointment ratio of 75% or more
Customer split (specialist and GP split) 2 Responsible for Territory Management
Visit 80% of customers every cycle (6 weeks)
Grade customers (80% of customers either (A most important Drs or B second most important or C additional Dr’s )
Day trips cannot exceed 120km radius 3 Product knowledge
Regular updates on products
Achieve 85%minimum on product assessments. 4 Administration
Complete weekly planners, expenses, sample registers etc 5 Market Share
Script target achieved for each product
EI and RI for each product

Must have:

Own Motor Vehicle
Valid Drivers License
Product Information

Travel
The role holder will travel 70% of their time on a mixture of planned and ad-hoc business travel.

KPI Quality Standards

Achieve 11 calls per day.
Daily appointment ratio of 75% a day
Customer Split 80%GP and 20% specialists on a daily basis
Achieve minimum of 85% on product assessments on a quarterly basis
Accurate, comprehensive and timeous submission of administrative documents.
EI and RI for each product quarterly
Script Target achieved for each product
