JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for you a DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team with one of the award winning Software company in South Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills if you are looking to make the leap and want to expand your skills into the hyperscale - working on bleeding edge tech both on-premise and in the cloud.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with developers to produce effective strategies
Build tools to reduce the occurrences of errors and improve the customer experience
Evaluate product configuration according to specifications
Visualise deployments
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Working on multiple projects

Required knowledge and skills:

Python, C# (either is fine)
Azure, AWS & GCE
Jenkins / GitLab / Nexus
Problem-solving attitude
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Strong organizational skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or comparable certifications or experience
