My client that is one of the market leaders in the ISP sector is looking for an out-of-the-box thinker for a DevOps Engineer position that was recently open for one of their divisions. This position will come with diverse opportunities and a work-life balance.

Description:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be leading and collaborating with a team of DevOps Engineers that focuses on designing, building, and deploying highly available, scalable, and secure software platforms and tool sets that will significantly improve our overall end-user experience, as well as further improving on our core components.

Education:

3 years experience in software development and design.
Any relevant software engineering qualifications or certifications
Experience in software engineering.
Public cloud qualifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect.

Skills:

Lean IT principles and data-driven approaches;
Modern DevOps principles, practices, and tooling;
Script languages and automation (e.g. Powershell, YAML, Python, JScript);
Azure, Arm Templates, Azure Automation, other Azure Services, and Architecture;
Industry Leading Practices, Cloud Patterns, and Performance considerations for Azure Services;
Exposure to Containers (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, HELM);
Powershell Scripting;
Modern web application development (e.g. Angular, C#, .NET Core, NodeJS, CSS3);
Relational Databases (e.g. SQL Server, Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, etc.);
NoSQL databases (e.g. Cosmos DB, Couchbase, DocumentDB, Cloud Datastore, MongoDB, Casandra, etc.);
API management (e.g. Azure API Management);
Continuous integration/continuous deployment (e.g. Git, Azure DevOps, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Gradie, Ant);
Data Integration Tools (SSIS, Informatica, API Management, Enterprise Service Bus, and Rules Engine);
QA Automation Tools (Selenium);
Enterprise Application Integration and Identity Management (IdAM), (oAuth2);

Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Content Management, Master Data Management, Enterprise Search and Reporting (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Sharepoint).
