JOB SUMMARY:
Digital Communications Manager required to join a leading corporate, based in Umhlanga.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Relevant Degree and qualifications- Digital Marketing, Integrated Communications Management, Social Media Management, Digital Qualifications- Google Accreditations.
  • Laptop (Apple/Mac) is required.
  • Minimum 3 years in a Strategy/ Brand/ Digital Marketing Management role at an agency or in a marketing department.
  • Integrated advertising experience, including strong copywriting skills and digital channel management (social media, mailers etc.). Design background is advantageous.
  • Track record of both Brand Strategy and Integrated Communication solutions demonstrating the ability to uncover and execute powerful insights: Data driven outcomes to best suit the identified internal and external target audience.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and optimizing ad and marketing campaigns across major digital and social media platforms.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Management and Implementation of the company Communication Strategy across all Digital channels, both internally and externally.
  • Oversee and review the company's social media, mobile, and online presence to improve reputation, awareness, sales and performance.
  • Manage all areas of the strategic process (research; insight generation, storytelling, strategic direction of the agreed Brand and Communications Strategy.
  • Plan, execute and report on all digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and Intranet.
  • Content development and execution across all channels, ensuring effective reach and engagement based on agreed deliverables.
  • Working closely with the Head of Communication and the creative department to formulate content creation and brand plan development and execution, both internally and externally.
  • Manage the planning and execution of all digital marketing campaigns across all channels (organic and sponsored social media activity LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, direct marketing campaigns, Microsoft Office Communication channels) to grow brand following, engagement, and share of voice.
  • Focus on the full Client/ Employee Communication experience through every touchpoint.
  • Track, measure, and report marketing metrics for all activities, and assess against goals (ROI or KPI).
  • Oversee the quality of visual and written marketing content creation such as blogs, graphics, websites, videos, email marketing etc. and ensure that the true brand essence resonates through every communication touchpoint.
  • Identify new channels to communicate effectively to our client base across several locations within Africa.
