Calling all Digital Image Specialists in Cape Town!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client, a leading and well known company in Woodstock requires a competent and experienced Digital Image Quality Assusrance Specialist to join their team for a 6 Month Contract Position.

This position id reporing to the Quality Assurance Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

· Tertiary qualification in or proven experience using Adobe Photoshop

· 2 – 3 years'' experience in Photo manipulation

· Experience with Retail environment

· The ability to work in deadline driven and pressurised environment always taking quality into account

· Team player with the ability to work without supervision

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Problem solver

· Excellent Communication skills

· Conduct in an honest and ethical manner

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal Clear

Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

· QA of digitally supplied images

· Quality Assurance of digital images to ensure visual consistency of product images / images within projects, and across brand and retail.

· Quality Assurance to ensure Brand / Retail Products are consistent

· Ensure style and views (image classification) are correct according to Silo Style Guide or signed-off Retailer/Brand’s unique style guide.

· Check size/color space and resolution of all jobs either for release / export or approval: this includes making sure all jobs have the correct profiles and formats and are on specification.

· Ensure accuracy and precision of the image deliverables, and check if there are any deviations as per the quality rules and guidelines

· Spec accuracy, including Size, crop, file type, colour, angle, branding,

· Ensure all styles & views are correct (Image Classification)

· Clearly communicate reasons for rejected images

· Communicate clear retouching standards / levels

· Communicate apparent reasons for rejections

· Collaborate with retouching, sourcing, brands, retail, and QA manager

· Keep a record of problem areas and concerns and flag these with management

· Provide feedback / Report

· Incorporate suggestions, feedback, and requests to clients, internal teams, and Quality Assurance Manager

· Liaise with sourcing and brands teams

· Fast turn-around times

· Embrace and apply the values of - Agility, Quality, and Accountability
