District Manager – Head of Sales & Commercial
Location: Border-Kei, East London
Reporting to: General Manager
Are you a seasoned Sales Leader ready to drive excellence in a dynamic FMCG environment? We are seeking an accomplished District Manager who embodies strategic vision and operational acumen to lead sales and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize all functional areas within the plant to meet customer and stakeholder expectations.
- Align strategic practices to exploit developed and emerging markets.
- Manage franchisor/supplier relationships to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership support and guidance to your team, fostering a culture of performance excellence.
- Formulate and control expense and capital budgets, ensuring optimal resource management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a Sales and Marketing Bachelor’s Degree.
- Proven track record in an FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics is highly advantageous.
- Looking for seasoned and commercially strong professionals.
- Ability to present and report to the GMs and Commercial Sales Director.
- Must have been an Area or Sales Manager for 5+years before moving into a senior sales role.
Key Competencies:
- Ability to develop and maintain budgets for optimal function management.
- Expertise in strategic business planning for both sales and operations.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a competent sales team.
- Excellence in customer service and human resource management.
- Ability to present and report bi-weekly to senior executives.
