MUST HAVE: Non-Negotiable:

At least a Nat Diploma (N6) GCC and or B Degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Project Management qualification or experience

Budget experience

Engineering Design experience

Experience using the following 3D modelling programs:

Solidworks

Autodesk – Inventor

Duties:

Project Management

Budget control

Create / design 3D models of items to be machined for approval.

Create dimensional drawings from approved 3D models for machining.

Create 3D models structural items for approval.

Create dimensional drawings from approved 3D models for steel

structures.

Create 3D models of sheet metal items for approval.

Create dimensional drawings from approved 3D models for sheet metal

parts.

Create dimensional orthographic views for costing.

Interpret hand sketches and instruction into conceptual drawings.

Stress and deflection analysis of assemblies.

Failure analysis of assemblies.

Create 3D models of jigs for approval.

Create dimensional drawings for manufacture of jigs.

Creating DXF/DWG files of subassemblies for outsourcing to other companies.
