E-commerce Product Coordinator

Our client is looking for a full-time E-commerce Product Coordinator to join their fast-growing E-commerce business in the Cape Winelands area.

The role is a great launch pad into a career in E-commerce, with plenty of scope and opportunity for development in the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the product workflow to ensure new products are placed online as quickly as possible.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Related tertiary education in digital / marketing / project management.
• Some experience in administration, managing projects or coordination.
• An interest in E-commerce, retail, online advertising and / or analytics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of individuals with different skill sets.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Extremely detail orientated.
• Good grammar.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain product catalogues - including product names, descriptions, attributes, images, and videos.
• Setup and maintain website navigation catalogue including categories and filtering.
• Maintain relevant user and company-generated content and assist with product photography workflow in order to keep content repository up-to-date and relevant.
• Assist photographers in arranging all products needed for shoot as well as assisting them on site.
• Perform regular quality assurance and website audits to ensure website content is of the highest standard.
• Assist with user testing as needed for any website enhancements or project implementations.

Salary: Market related (depending on qualifications and experience).

Location: Cape Winelands.
