SUMMARY:
Our client, a large manufacturing company, long-established in Durban, seeks your sales experience to increase and/or maintain sales in a designated territory.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

Degree in Life Sciences (Paramedical).
Minimum 2 years experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical sales, as a Sales Rep.

Key Performance Areas:

Sales:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Develop sales plans for the designated areas to achieve sales targets.
- Compile monthly sales reports, by monitoring sales and customer analysis.
- Follow up with Sales Manager on sales achieved.
- Compile quarterly activity reports for presentation at the quarterly Marketing meeting.
- Compile activity reports for input into the Marketing department, reporting to the Group Board.
- Provide customer training and education.
- Identify, co-ordinate and organise CME opportunities for the Information Centre.
- Identify new sales and promotional opportunities to increase sales/awareness.
- Develop a quarterly customer call plan.
- Assist customers with queries/complaints and record on CRM system.
- Organise the Group's attendance at Congresses by booking, and attending to all the necessary details; Attend Congresses as part of the promotions plan.
Product and Market Knowledge:
- Keep abreast of trends, in terms of competitor activities, pricing, therapeutic trends, new products and diseases.
- Provide feedback from Doctors, Nurses and patients, in terms of product design and suitability.
Executive Support to Head of Business Development:
- Provide all the requested information, documents and data by agreed deadlines.
