SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled and trade-tested Electrical Project Manager / Site Foreman to join their growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position suited for a candidate with 5–6 years of proven experience in site-based electrical construction and project oversight. The successful candidate will transition into a senior-level Projects Manager role in Wetton, Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Minimum qualification: Trade tested with a diploma/degree in electrical or construction fields or equivalent
Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in electrical construction and project management
Solid understanding of electrical construction methods and site management
Assist with tender briefings and support estimators with construction input
Prepare and manage detailed construction programs and execution plans
Appoint and manage subcontractors, labour teams, and site resources
Ensure compliance with all statutory, health, and safety regulations
Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and housekeeping
Lead subcontractor meetings and internal site teams to drive performance
Issue progress reports, track risks, and optimize schedules
Review drawings, snag lists, and quality control points
Approve subcontractor payments and ensure compliance certificates are in place
Must be proficient in English
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license is required
Computer literate on CCS, Buildsmart is required, with MS Office, and experience in using MS Project for project scheduling
