Technical Storeman / Procurement & Administration

SUMMARY:
Our client, an established company within the electrical and engineering sector, is looking for an experienced Storeman / Procurement & Administration candidate to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Location: Durbanville, Cape Town Employment Type: Permanent Requirements Electrical industry experience is essential Previous Storeman, Stores or Procurement experience Experience ordering materials and dealing with suppliers Basic administrative experience Computer literate with good Excel skills Xero experience advantageous Experience with safety documentation and certificates Previous hazardous environment experience advantageous Valid driver's licence Willing to travel extensively, including overnight stays Comfortable travelling with the Director to customer sites and meetings Responsibilities Manage, receive and organise electrical stock and materials Order materials and liaise with suppliers Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement Allocate and record materials against job cards using the company's internal app Record unused materials for return to stock Maintain accurate stock records Safely maintain safety certificates and related documentation Assist with general administration and project-related material requirements Travel with the Director to customer sites and business meetings Training will be provided on the company's internal app and specific stock management processes.
