POSITION INFO:

Economist – Policy Development (Financial Services)

This position is limited to BBBEE candidates, due to BEE requirements.

Location: Pretoria

Position Overview:

There is an exciting vacancy available at a blue-chip financial services concern, for an Economist in the company’s Economic Research Department.

The main purpose of the Economist is to conduct economic research and policy analysis to support policymaking within the company.

Specific duties may include data collection, compilation, and analysis (using different statistical approaches).

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

A minimum of an Honours degree in Economics is essential
5 - 10 years’ experience in the field of economic analysis, research and/or macroeconomics, or financial economics
