SUMMARY:
I'm seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with a strong background in power distribution, critical infrastructure and complex electrical systems. This opportunity is ideal for engineers who have worked on large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure or mission-critical projects and are looking to apply their expertise within the rapidly growing data centre sector.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Design LV and MV electrical systems Develop power distribution and protection schemes Produce electrical calculations and technical documentation Support UPS, standby generation and backup power designs Review switchgear and transformer specifications Assist with commissioning and project delivery activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Electrical Design Engineering Proven experience in electrical power distribution and infrastructure projects Strong understanding of electrical protection and coordination principles Experience producing technical drawings, calculations and design documentation Proficiency with AutoCAD, ETAP, EPLAN or similar software Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders Experience within data centres, renewables, manufacturing, mining, substations or critical infrastructure advantageous Qualification: BEng, BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering Additional training in Power Systems, Protection Studies or Electrical Design advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
