Electrical Engineers (Jnr + Snr)

SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking Electrical Engineers (Jnr + Snr) to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Junior Engineers: 1-4 years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
  • Senior Engineers: 5+ years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in electrical system design and project management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, and energy management.
• Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.

• Experience in the energy, industrial, or automation sectors.
• Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Electrical System Design & Implementation: Develop and design electrical systems, components, and equipment that meet project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform system testing, identify faults, and implement solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Project Management: For senior engineers, oversee and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, etc.) to integrate electrical systems into larger project frameworks.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Ensure all designs meet industry standards, safety codes, and regulations.
• Mentoring & Support: For senior engineers, provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
