SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performance team in a heavy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems across production facilities, driving continuous improvement and minimizing downtime.

POSITION INFO:
ð Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and plant systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to restore operations quickly. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Minimum Requirements: ð Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. GCC registration (advantageous). 5+ years' experience in electrical maintenance within heavy manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor control systems, HV\/LV distribution, and automation. Familiarity with safety standards (OHS Act, SANS codes) and maintenance best practices. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Apply now!
