SUMMARY:
The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing plant equipment performance and process. This position is key to driving operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety, proactive maintenance, reliability improvement, and hands-on technical leadership across plant systems and processes.

Requirements:
- Align engineering strategies with the overarching Operations & Maintenance (O&M) strategy to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive work instructions, policies, procedures, and controls for all engineering department functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality, cost-effective service.
- Machinery safety.
- Electrical safety.
- Process safety.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise plant equipment and systems to ensure reliable operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for the Engineering Department in alignment with O&M goals.
- Create and enforce work instructions, policies, and procedures for effective departmental performance and legislative compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (BTech).
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) Factories is essential.
- Proven experience as a Plant Engineer within a mill or FMCG Manufacturing environment.
