Electrical Plant Engineer (GCC)

SUMMARY:
A large Manufacturing company has an opportunity for an Electrical Plant Engineer with a GCC. Candidates must have experience with PLC / SCADA optimisation and preventive / predictive maintenance in an FMCG or Manufacturing environment (not heavy engineering).

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• BTech or Electrical Engineering Degree with a GCC
• Min 10 years' experience in a similar role
• Instrumentation experience is essential
• Assess the operational and financial feasibility of recommendations to improve engineering and maintenance workflows
• Co-develop the Validation Master Plan (VMP) with Quality Assurance departments and relevant stakeholders
• Develop contingency plans to minimise the impact of delays in engineering and maintenance activities
• Develop risk management plans for the Engineering & Maintenance department
• Ensure that engineering teams operate in accordance with Quality and HSE requirements
• Evaluate financial and operational viability of energy-optimisation initiatives
• Initiate training programmes to build capability in the Engineering and Maintenance department
• Justify the resources required to support changes in resources, procedures, systems, equipment, or technology within the Engineering and Maintenance department
