SUMMARY:
I am a specialist recruiter in the electrical and industrial engineering space and am currently working with a number of clients in this market. I am looking to connect with Electrical Sales Engineers in Cape Town who are open to exploring new or upcoming opportunities and would like to be represented to suitable clients within the sector.

POSITION INFO:
Our clients operate within the electrical and industrial engineering space, supplying technical solutions across various sectors including (but not limited to) electrical equipment, automation, and engineered systems. These roles offer exposure to diverse product ranges and the opportunity to work in a commercially driven, technically focused sales environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical sales support aligned with customer requirements.

Education:

National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical qualification (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a technical or sales-related role within the electrical or engineering sector
Strong commercial awareness and ability to engage with clients at various technical levels
Understanding of electrical products, systems, or engineered solutions
Ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, and support business growth
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-driven and results-oriented approach
