Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with mining houses, EPCM consultants, contractors, and end users.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads within the mining sector.
• Promote and sell electrical products, systems, and solutions.
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and technical demonstrations.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Interpret client specifications and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in technical sales within the mining or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of mining electrical systems and equipment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and tender documents.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience with MV/LV electrical equipment, substations, switchgear, transformers, motor control centres, VSDs, protection systems, or automation solutions.
• Existing network of contacts within the mining industry.
• Experience with tendering and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of mining regulations and industry standards.
