JOB SUMMARY:
Electrical / Mechatronic or electronic engineer needed for designs of electrical systems at Equipment Manufacturer. Will be responsible for Machine Control Systems Design. Skills needed in power electronics and electrical system designs. E-plan skills highly desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ELECTRONIC/ ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Johannesburg

Qualification:
B Eng. or B-Tech degree in Electrical - Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering

Requirements:

Control system software development
Experience with Electrical Drives and Machinery
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Project management capabilities

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Develop new control software
Updating and improvement of current control software
Development of machine specific diagnostic interface programs
Updating and improvements of current electrical systems
Component selection and communication with relevant suppliers
Inspections, and sign-off of electrical installations on prototypes
