POSITION INFO:

Job title: Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Northern-Cape, on a mining site.

Salary: R50-55k/month, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
Select and specify instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level, analyzers).
Supervise installation, calibration, and commissioning activities.
Develop control philosophies and loop diagrams.
Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage contractors and technical teams.
Prepare technical documentation and reports.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering - beneficial
10–15 years’ relevant industry experience
Experience on African industrial or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISA, IEEE)
Strong leadership and project coordination ability
Willingness to work on project sites
