Electrical commisioning Engineer

SUMMARY:

Some engineers design.
Some engineers supervise.
But only a few can bring a plant to life.
We’re looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer who doesn’t just tick boxes — but takes ownership of energisation, testing, fault-finding, and final handover.

POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Commissioning LV & MV electrical systems
• Testing switchgear, MCCs, protection relays, transformers
• Functional testing & verification
• FAT & SAT execution
• I/O verification and loop checks
• Working closely with automation, mechanical & project teams
• Client-facing commissioning & sign-off
• Troubleshooting under pressure (because site is never quiet)

What You Need:

• Electrical Engineering qualification (Diploma/Degree)
• Proven commissioning experience in industrial or plant environments
• Strong knowledge of protection systems & testing procedures
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Willingness to travel / work on-site
• Calm under pressure. Detail-obsessed. Technically sharp.

🌍 Advantageous:

• Experience in mining, water treatment, FMCG or heavy industry
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA integration
• Protection relay configuration experience
