POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Develop and integrate hardware and firmware solutions for embedded applications Participate in product research, prototyping and new technology development Conduct functional testing, verification and validation of electronic systems Investigate and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle Support product enhancement, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions Assist with product deployment, performance monitoring and ongoing technical support Create and maintain technical documentation and design specifications Skills & Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of Electronic Design Engineering experience Experience developing embedded systems and electronic products Exposure to firmware or software development using C, C# or similar programming languages Understanding of digital and analogue electronics Experience with hardware testing, debugging and fault-finding Exposure to PCB design and electronic hardware development Experience integrating hardware and software systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work on products throughout the development lifecycle Qualification: BEng, BSc or BTech in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
