POSITION INFO:
An innovative engineering and technology company is looking for a Development Engineer – Hardware to design and develop advanced electronic systems used in industrial applications. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will contribute to the full product lifecycle — from circuit design and prototyping to production-ready solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical electronic systems, collaborating closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure products are robust, reliable, and ready for real-world conditions. You will play a key role in creating high-quality hardware solutions while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous innovation.

Education & Skills:

• B.Eng (Electronics) / BSc Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
• Analog and digital circuit design
• Embedded systems design and programming
• Industrialisation and product development of electronic systems
• Hardware and software integration in embedded environments
• C/C++ programming for embedded applications
• PCB design (experience with Altium Designer highly advantageous)
• Working with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and digital signal processing (DSP)
• Communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and Ethernet
• Circuit simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB or equivalent)
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics and datasheets
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT)
• EMC/EMI compliance and relevant industry standards
• Version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, spectrum analysers, multimeters)
