A multi-national mining company that specialises in manufacturing construction and mining equipment based in Johannesburg is currently looking for a control & automation engineer. The position will be based in Wadeville.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant BSc Degree/BSc Computer Science/Software Engineer
  • BSc Engineering:Computer Electronic

Skills:

  • Cross-functional team assignments experience
  • Experience in embedded programmes and/or c#/c++/c
  • Project Management certifications
  • Professional registration will be beneficiary

Job description:

  • 4+ years in machine application: mining industry
  • Maintaining, supporting and testing software, components per market demands
  • Support risk assessments and design failure assessments
  • Conduct engineering evaluations
