My Client a market leader in the manufacturing of poultry feeding equipment, more specifically chain and auger conveyors, for the purpose of conveying materials in various applications. is looking for an Engineering Administrator

POSITION INFO:
Engineering Administrator With a minimum of 5 years or more in a similar role With a working knowledge of Syspro MUST ALREADY RESIDE IN CAPE TOWN - Do not apply if you''''re not living in Cape Town MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORT TO TRAVEL TO STIKLAND DAILY Duties & Responsibilities ADMINISTRATION Organizing and maintaining engineering documentation, technical reports, engineering drawings, and other relevant files. Generating regular reports on project status, budget utilization, and other relevant metrics. Providing administrative support to engineers by assisting with tasks such as scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting. Data Analysis: Assisting with data collection and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making within the engineering department. Meeting Coordination: Arranging and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes. Assist with loading requisitions on Syspro when needed. SUPPLIERS, CUTOMERS & COMMUNICATION Communicating with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials, equipment, and services for projects. Facilitating communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure everyone is updated on project progress and developments. Assist with quotations\/invoices when needed from suppliers. BUDGETING & COLLABORATION Monitoring project expenses and helping to ensure projects stay within budgetary limits. Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution. Resource Allocation: Helping to allocate resources such as equipment, materials, and manpower for various engineering projects. Project Coordination: Assisting in project scheduling, tracking milestones, and ensuring that tasks are being completed according to deadlines. GENERAL Follow any reasonable and lawful instructions from superior. Always follow any company policies and procedures diligently with a positive attitude. Ensuring that engineering projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Always report any issues or fault findings to the Technical Director. REPORTING Feedback Report -> Technical Director -> Last Friday of Every Month Budget Utilization - Technical Director -> Weekly on Fridays DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION Matric Certificate ID Drivers Lic Tertiary qualifications Proof of software package training 3x contactable references latest payslip
