A forward-thinking mineral processing Company is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager or Engineering Director to lead the engineering function across chrome recovery and mineral processing operations. This senior leadership role will oversee plant engineering, maintenance, and project execution, ensuring compliance, reliability, and performance excellence.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgical Engineering
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) – Mines and Works (Essential)
- Legal 2.13.1 Engineer appointment (as per MHSA)
- At least 10 years’ experience in an operational mineral processing plant environment
- Strong Project Management and Operations Engineering background
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Sound understanding of plant design, maintenance systems, and engineering standards
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and technical direction to all engineering functions
- Oversee plant maintenance, reliability, and asset management
- Ensure legal compliance with MHSA and safety standards
- Lead and manage capital projects, upgrades, and expansions
- Drive engineering excellence in support of plant availability and production targets
- Foster innovation, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with production, SHEQ, and executive teams
