SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for ensuring data management governance for Group Finance

POSITION INFO:
Job Responsibilities:

Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management: Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data
Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis: pay attention to all technical aspects
Establishing data sharing rules: Support others in the daily use of data systems
Monitoring and analyzing information and data systems: Troubleshoot data-related problems, and ensure data security and integrity
Analyzing financial data to identify trends: Make recommendations to upper management
Collaborating with other bank business divisions: Develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability
Assessing risk and identifying potential issues: Implement solutions to mitigate them

Formal Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, maths, finance, business, or a related field
Formal data management qualification like DAMA

Experience:

>3 years Data Management
1-3 years Banking or Financial Services
Financial Knowledge
