JOB SUMMARY:
My client, a state-owned FinTech concern is looking to employ an Enterprise Solutions Manager on a 24 month contract basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overview:

Planning, manage and track the activity across Program Office, New and Old Application Services Providers, Software Quality and Enterprise Architecture

Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and direction within enterprise systems management and responsible for the design, implementation and management of the enterprise systems management infrastructure.
Ensuring the ability to meet service level requirements in the areas of network management, platform management, application management, event management, patch management, configuration management, capacity management, enterprise systems monitoring, automation, integration and asset management.

Qualification and Experience:

Tertiary qualification in Information Sciences or Engineering
At least 10 to 12 years related experience.
At least 8 years development experience, of which at least 5 years as manager.
Proven experience in the application deployment and continuous improvement industry standards, processes and tools.
Thorough understanding and experience of SDLC processes applicable to large scale software development scenarios.

Skill requirements:

Experience of the following technologies:
- Microsoft and Python development environments an advantage
- Experience with an application server (IBM Websphere - preferable)
- Integration experience with solutions containing Enterprise Service Bus architecture (IBM MQ Series)
- Knowledge of XML Schema
- SOA experience
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Good relationship skills.
Good conflict management skills.
