SUMMARY:
An industry leader within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) space is looking to add a seasoned Executive Finance Manager to their dynamic team. This position is based in the East of Johannesburg and is open for a qualified Finance Manager (Bcom/CA) looking to take a step up in their career.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Bcom Accounting
5-7 years working experience
FMCG experience is desirable
Good knowledge of accounting principles

Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Financial Accountant’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Overseeing full accounting function
collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements.
managing budgets
Weekly and monthly preparation and financial analysis of management accounting figures
Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
Monitoring, analysis of inventory costs, reconciliation and ad hoc attendance of inventory counts of all inventory departments.
