Executive: Finance Modelling

SUMMARY:
Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for providing financial modelling development on all activities within the group as required

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for providing financial modelling development on all activities within the group as required. This includes acquisitions, developments, feasibility studies and day to day activities in support of the support services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree
• Excellent financial modelling experience
• Programming capabilities within financial modelling
• 5- 10 years’ working experience

Skills & Knowledge Required:   

• Master-level Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic
• Extensive knowledge of Financial Accounting
• Understanding of Economics (Micro and Macro)
• Understanding of financial analysis
• Keeping abreast with industry-specific news
• Knowledge of entry-level tax
• Excellent Management Accounting skills.
• Deadline driven and result orientated
• Excellent stress management skills
• Excellent business acumen
• Excellent strategic and commercial know-how
• Excellent presentation skills     

Key Result Areas

• Assist in the formulation of the investment and diversification strategy through reference to market trends and investor appetite
• Source acquisition targets in line with investment strategy
• Champion acquisition process (on specific deals allocated) from sourcing deal to legal transfer and handover, including, but limited to Acquisition modelling and feasibility, Due diligence process, Financing, Transfer & handover
• Provide support for CAPEX projects in terms of Financing/Feasibility studies/financial modelling
• Assist in developing a funding strategy, including a mix of type of debt, choice of financiers and hedging strategy
• Engage with Bank and Debt Capital Market financiers to obtain and maintain funding for acquisition targets/projects
• Assist in developing equity funding/raising strategy, including the timing of capital raises and utilisation of 3rd party corporate advisors
• Portfolio Valuation & Analysis Semi-Annual Portfolio Reporting
• Valuation of Portfolio            
• Investment Committee and Board Reports
