Executive Manager: Commercial Development and Business Banking

Our client has an EE opportunity available for an Executive Manager: Commercial Development and Business Banking.

Requirements:

• A post graduate qualification; preferably Banking / Finance / CA.
• Master’s degree/or MBA in business or related area strongly preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in development Finance, Corporate, Business/Commercial or Investment Banking.
• 10 years’ experience in strategic Management experience which includes leadership or management of a customer-facing profit-making business unit.
• 10 years’ experience in the leadership of strategic programme execution which includes project management and/or consulting.
• 10 years’ experience of the above job function at an Executive Management Level as well as the ability to manage a team of Senior Managers and professionals.
• 5 years of experience in managing a distribution network on regional level.
• Knowledge of PFMA.

KPAs:

• Formulate the Commercial Development and Business Banking (CDBB) strategy as aligned to the corporate plan of the organization.
• Develop and implement the CDBB service delivery approach and structure.
• Establish best practice in all aspects of the origination and relationship management functions.
• Apply highly developed credit risk management skills.
• Act as first point of contact for audit, risk, compliance and business continuity and control environment.
• Defines targets and plans to ensure the financial health and growth of the division.
• Identify, facilitate and manage agricultural development projects for CDB.
• Business development.
• Stakeholder management.
• Chair / member of operational committees where input is relevant.
• Play a key role in developing and implementing strategy and objectives for designated business area.
• People management.
