A leading organisation is seeking an accomplished Executive Manager: Finance to lead its Finance Department and drive financial excellence across the business.
This role will suit a seasoned financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment, with proven experience in managing teams, optimising systems, and delivering accurate, compliant, and insightful reporting to executive stakeholders.

POSITION INFO:

ð¹ Position Overview

The Executive Manager: Finance is responsible for the organisation’s overall financial management, including:

Financial strategy and planning
Budgeting and forecasting
Tax, audit, and compliance
Treasury and cash flow management
System optimisation and technology integration
Governance, controls, and risk management
Leadership and development of the finance team

You’ll work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other executive leaders to ensure sustainable growth and financial stability.

ð¼ Key Responsibilities

Lead all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across all business units.
Oversee monthly and annual financial close processes.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, Tax Acts, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
Manage internal, external, and BBBEE audit processes.
Implement and optimise finance-related technology systems and automation initiatives.
Oversee treasury and working capital management.
Prepare detailed management accounts, financial statements, and board reports.
Develop and maintain strong governance frameworks and internal controls.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team to enhance performance and capability.

ð¯ Minimum Requirements

CA(SA) (essential)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Financial Management or Executive Finance position
Proven record of managing and developing finance teams
System migration experience (advantageous)
Aviation industry experience (advantageous)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel
Experience using Sage Intacct preferred
