JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a prestigious Company in the Tshwane area, has an opportunity available for an Executive Manager in Smart Mobility. This will be a 5 year contract position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Must have a Doctoral degree in mechanical/electronic/computer engineering, physics or related fields
Must have at least 10 years’ experience in RDI and commercialisation industry or leading research and technology organisation (RTO) at a senior management level
Business Management qualification would be advantageous
Evidence of high level stakeholder management, defence and security industry related networks
Proven track record of successful IP commercialisation
HCD implementation and capacity development
Experience in handling a budget of R125 Mil
Should have a research background exposure
Has experience in Sourcing funds OR Raising funds
Must have experience in Technology Commercialisation in Industry or Leading Research & Technology Organisation

KPAs:

Lead the research, development localisation, and commercialisation of technologies and knowledge solutions from a sound scientific and technological base
Drive strategic investment of parliamentary grant to leverage further income from other funding sources
Maintain a balanced portfolio of research, development and commercialisation per divisional priorities and organisation vision
Account for the financially sustainability, profit and loss of the cluster
Ensure cluster compliance with all organisational policies and relevant legislation
