POSITION INFO:
Our reputable Foodservice Equipment client is seeking an Export Key Account Manager to join their team based in Johannesburg. Salary: Basic Salary - Market Related Purpose of the Job: Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Export Key Account Manager to drive export sales growth across Africa and other international markets. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key international customer accounts, expanding dealer networks, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will build long-term client relationships, identify growth opportunities, achieve sales targets, and represent the company professionally while travelling extensively throughout Africa and other international markets. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 (Matric). - Degree in Sales, Marketing or a related qualification (preferred). Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in Export Sales. - Proven Key Account Management experience. - Strong knowledge of African export markets. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets. - Experience developing international dealer or distributor networks. Knowledge Export sales processes and procedures. International trade regulations and export procedures. African export markets. Customer relationship management. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook). CRM systems (advantageous). Key Responsibilities Business Development Develop new export business opportunities. - Grow existing international customer accounts. - Expand the company's dealer and distributor network. - Identify new export markets and sales opportunities. Key Account Management Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. - Conduct regular customer visits. - Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions. - Deliver exceptional customer service. Sales Management Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. - Prepare quotations and proposals. - Conduct product presentations and demonstrations. - Promote the company's products and solutions. - Maintain an effective customer calling programme. Export Operations Coordinate export sales activities. - Liaise with internal departments to ensure successful order fulfilment. - Represent the Company's brand professionally and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers. - Resolve customer service issues promptly. Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate customer records and CRM data. - Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports. - Monitor sales pipeline, account performance and market activity.
