JOB SUMMARY:
A leading Fresh Produce Marketer and Supplier into local and international markets requires the above to ensure the smooth running of all fresh produce export processes to meet the overall production targets, international export requirements, and the objectives of the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

A Marketing or Agricultural or BCom or BSc degree or diploma or related qualification is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience having worked in an export role or related within the fresh produce / fruit markets is essential.
Previous export experience calling on the Far East is preferred.
Previous experience working within the fruit export industry is essential.
Previous experience dealing with the retail and wholesale markets is preferred.
The successful candidate must be bilingual with excellent English communication skills and have good Excel skills.
The successful candidate must be proactive, with a positive and energetic attitude.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Driving and managing all export of fresh produce and ensuring compliance with all of the Company’s policies and procedures.
Monitoring all financial and currency processes and transactions, managing all communication with export authorities for all required countries.
Driving and implementing all export strategies and activities ensuring adherence to all project requirements for Customers.
Preparing all export documents within required time frame and scheduling efficient shipping activities and identifying appropriate transportation methods in assistance with Customers.
Monitoring all existing and prospective markets within the Far East and assisting and identifying appropriate business opportunities.
Reviewing all Company products and developing and maintaining professional relationships with all Agents and Clients.
Collaborating with Suppliers to ensure smooth functioning of processes and forecasting.
Providing training to the export team, performing assessments of various projects and assisting the team in achieving all export objectives.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
