JOB SUMMARY:
Manage all accounting, processing and reconciliations functions for Support Office and working capital areas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum NQF 6 Accounting qualification with minimum 5 year’s related experience in a similar size company
ERP system experience, SAP would be preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure formulation of continual process improvement with regards to set Key Performance Areas
Manage sub-ordinates and all administrative functions relating to Support office department
Understand the requirements of the Shared Services Service level agreements
Proactively manage the deliverables and escalate if issues are foreseen.
Manage and ensure compliance with the Service Level Agreements
Ensure controls and processes for Service Level Agreements are in place and adhered to
Manage and review to ensure assets are recorded and are accounted for as per accounting standards and CB Way
Manage and control the fixed assets monthly process to ensure completeness and accuracy within prescribed timelines.
Manage and control Plant Maintenance and Project systems as is required to support the business
Profit and loss analysis of actual results to budget and prior year for all Support Office and indirect cost centres
General Ledger reconciliations of Support Office accounts and resolution of reconciling items as agreed with management
Manage and review:
All transactions effecting the Joint Ventures are recorded in SAP
Trial balance, income statement and balance sheet presentation to management per pre-release timetable
Consolidated elimination journal entries to be presented for approval and thereafter posted
Reports, queries, and meetings with Joint Venture partner/s as per agreed plan
Manage financial reporting of inventory related financial transactions including authorization of journals
Manage to ensure that payroll transactions are integrated and recorded accurately in SAP
Review and approve General Ledger reconciliations of all payroll related accounts.
