SUMMARY:
Seeking an accomplished Financial Director to work closely with the Managing Director and the executive team. This role focuses on leading; providing strategic direction and guiding all financial functions.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following:

Planning, organising and control of the Hinterland financial strategy & policies, implementing accounting practices & objectives.
Implementing & maintaining internal controls and accounting systems.
Financial reforms & innovative funding mechanisms.
Liaising and building relationships with financial institutions, all relevant stakeholders and the financial and investment community.
Balance sheet & cash flow management.
Accurate & timely financial reporting and disclosure.
Risk Management.
People management & leadership.
Sustainability, strategy & reporting.
Projects & acquisitions.

Skills and Experience:

CA (SA.)
10 Years relevant management experience.
Appropriate experience and knowledge in respect of statutory requirements and IFRS.
Experience in managing the capital request and budgeting processes.
Manage and motivate senior employees.
A dynamic person with strong leadership abilities, good negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills.
