FINANCE DIRECTOR - NORTH WEST (MUST HAVE RETAIL EXPERIENCE)

SUMMARY:
Seeking an accomplished Financial Director to work closely with the Managing Director and the executive team. This role focuses on leading; providing strategic direction and guiding all financial functions.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following: 

• Planning, organising and control of the Hinterland financial strategy & policies, implementing accounting practices & objectives.
• Implementing & maintaining internal controls and accounting systems.
• Financial reforms & innovative funding mechanisms.
• Liaising and building relationships with financial institutions, all relevant stakeholders and the financial and investment community.
• Balance sheet & cash flow management.
• Accurate & timely financial reporting and disclosure.
• Risk Management.
• People management & leadership.
• Sustainability, strategy & reporting.
• Projects & acquisitions.

Skills and Experience:

• CA (SA.) 
• 10 Years relevant management experience.
• Appropriate experience and knowledge in respect of statutory requirements and IFRS.
• Experience in managing the capital request and budgeting processes.
• Manage and motivate senior employees.
• A dynamic person with strong leadership abilities, good negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills.
