JOB DESCRIPTION:

Finance Manager Africa Division CA(SA) - Wellington, Western Cape – SALARY NEGOTIABLE

FMCG Manufacturing, warehouse and distribution business seeks a Finance Manager CA(SA), for their Africa Division. You will report directly to the Technical Finance Manager and will be responsible for the financial matters in the Africa division detailed below. The position is based in Wellington, Western Cape. The Company, where possible, follows a hybrid model for work from home/office.

Key Performance Areas

Analyse and compile a monthly financial report for African subsidiaries.

Verify monthly income statement and balance sheet for African subsidiaries.

Develop financial procedures and train employees on financial systems, policies and procedures to ensure a standardised control environment.

Assisting finance teams for African subsidiaries with preparing monthly forecasts for reporting to Group finance.

Ensure tax compliance in the relevant countries, with the assistance of the designated in-country service providers.

Assist the Executive of other Africa operations with analysis of capital expenditure plans.

Reviewing annual budget prepared by in-country finance teams and presenting to Group finance.

Communicating with in-country external auditors and Group internal/external auditors to ensure reporting deadlines are met.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Post Graduate degree – preferably CA(SA).

Computer literacy with Excel at an intermediary level.

Sage X3 experience will be advantageous.

Previous experience in a financial reporting / financial management role.

Willingness to travel to African countries (each of the 3 countries to be visited at least once per year).
