SUMMARY:
FP&A Reporting Team Lead

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced FP&A Reporting Team Lead to drive financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting, regulatory submissions, and commercial analysis within a large, complex, commercially focused organisation. This leadership role is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights to Executive Management, the Board, and key stakeholders while leading a high-performing FP&A reporting team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and forecasting processes.
Consolidate and analyse business performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
Prepare reporting for EXCO, Board, EBM, and Corporate stakeholders.
Manage Regulatory Accounting System (RAS) and NERSA submissions, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
Drive cost-saving initiatives, cash preservation, and value creation across SG&A and Capex.
Deliver commercial analysis, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and business performance insights.
Support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) enhancements and financial reporting system improvements.
Develop dashboards, management reports, and presentations for executive decision-making.
Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
Post-qualification experience in a large, complex, commercially focused organisation.
Strong experience in FP&A, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial finance.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and business intelligence tools.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Advantageous Industry Knowledge

South African and Botswana fuels pricing.
Liquid fuels industry and retail/commercial operations.
Regulatory Accounting System (RAS) requirements.
Internal transfer pricing methodologies.
Business performance management and value-driver analysis.
