POSITION INFO:

A progressive, globally active organisation is seeking a driven Accountant to support and strengthen its finance function. This opportunity offers broad exposure to core accounting processes, compliance requirements, and financial reporting across international structures — providing a solid platform for growth within a commercial setting. You’ll work closely with the Financial Manager while gaining hands-on experience across key finance operations in a global business.

Key Responsibilities:

Support budgeting and financial planning processes
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
Prepare and assist with financial reporting requirements
Conduct tax compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
Assist with VAT submissions and related filings
Analyse foreign exchange movements and report on variances
Co-ordinate and support external audit processes

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAICA articles or CA(SA) qualification
3 years’ experience within an audit firm
Essential: Exposure to a multinational environment
Experience within a commercial environment advantageous
Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance
High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
