Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, is seeking a Factory Accountant to join their team and take ownership of financial integrity, stock control, and product costing at their busy Atlantis facility. Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment essential.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:
✅ Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial data
✅ Manage inventory of finished goods, raw, and packaging materials
✅ Oversee monthly stock counts, investigate variances, and ensure up-to-date records on Sage Evolution
✅ Maintain and review BOM (Bill of Materials) costing and standards
✅ Analyse factory usage, waste, efficiencies, and profitability
✅ Support new product development with accurate costing and reporting
✅ Assist with audits, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects
What You Bring:
🎓 BComm in Accounting/Finance + Grade 12
📊 At least 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
💻 Advanced Excel skills + solid knowledge of accounting principles
🗣️ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
⚡ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing factory environment
