We are seeking a Factory Manager to oversee our FMCG production facility in Gauteng. Permanent position for a seasoned professional.

POSITION INFO:

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to join our team in Gauteng. As a Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and managing a team of production staff.Should you have any queries please call Kaylin or Antoinette.

Responsibilities:

Execution of the Site Strategic plans and deliverables
Manage and oversee daily factory operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Reporting directly to the General Manager with 8 direct reports and a team of approximately 1,200 colleagues.
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing production team.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, ISO) and company quality procedures.
Monitor production performance, analyse data, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure health & safety regulations are always followed.

Requirements:

Qualification in Operations/Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Science or related field.
7-10 years experience in an FMCG environment – at least 5 in a senior role
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems.
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
