SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced Production or Factory Manager passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement? We are looking for a dynamic Factory Manager to oversee the full production process at our Johannesburg facility.

POSITION INFO:
About the Role:Â
As part of our senior management team, youâll ensure that our production operations run efficiently, meet the highest quality standards, and foster a culture of safety, innovation, and performance.
Â Â
Responsibilities:Â

Oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse production team to achieve operational goals.
Manage factory budgets, drive cost efficiencies, and optimize resource utilization.
Implement and maintain international best-practice quality and safety systems.
Monitor production metrics and identify improvement opportunities using data-driven insights.
Champion continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelorâs Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, Production, or Operations Management.

Required Skills:Â

3â5 years proven experience in a factory or production management role within the FMCG, food manufacturing, cosmetics, or automotive parts sectors.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience driving performance in a multicultural environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Deep understanding of production processes, quality systems, and safety protocols.
Proficiency in production management software and strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills:Â

Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
Familiarity with international quality standards.
