Our client in the macadamia processing industry is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead their production and operations team!

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Operations or a related field would be beneficial
• 5 years’ proven management experience within a food manufacturing, nut processing, or agricultural processing environment, with demonstrated responsibility for overseeing teams, plant performance, and overall operational efficiency would be advantageous
• Proven practical experience in nut processing operations, specifically within the macadamia industry or a comparable nut processing environment
• In-depth working knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including the implementation and maintenance of standards such as HACCP, GMP, and FSSC or ISO frameworks
• Computer Literate
• Valid driver’s license
