Role: Finance Business Analyst

Rate: R407/hour

Job Type: 9 Months Fixed Term Contract

Location: Gauteng

Availability: Immediately

To ensure that key financial and business objectives of the Lending and related products within Financial Services are met with regards to internal controls, reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis. Provide support to the IT and commercial teams with regard to the processes and controls required from a financial perspective. The role has a dotted reporting line into EHOD: Financial Services Finance Business Partner.

To ensure that user requirements for the financial processes are technically understood, documented, developed, tested and delivered on in line with user expectations within an agile environment.

Qualifications:

BCOM Degree (Essential)

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 5-8 years financial experience - essential
Deep understanding of the financial process and lending
Sound accounting background not less than 5 years
Ability to build financial systems
Previous ICT (Information and Communications Technology) industries experience an advantage
Fintech/Startup experience an advantage

Other:

Clear communicator, written and oral
Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership team, manage external relationships with key suppliers, and train and manage junior staff
Manage deliverables from other departments such as IT, Payments commercial team and FinOps
