POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join our Finance Department on a contract basis, reporting to the Finance Manager within a leading automotive manufacturing environment. The role offers exposure to an international operating context, engaging with both European head office colleagues and major OEM customers.

Minimum Requirements:
• CA(SA) qualification (essential).
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (preferred).
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment (advantageous).
• Willingness to collaborate across international teams and time zones.

Key Focus Areas:• Creditor Reconciliations: Resolve long-outstanding items with local and international vendors, with emphasis on unvouched receipts (GRNI).
• General Ledger Reconciliations: Investigate and perform clean-up of various general ledger accounts.
• Foreign Creditors: Support process documentation and review, correction, and alignment of historical transactions to current foreign creditor management standards.
• Audit Preparation: Assist with the preparation and execution of year-end audit deliverables.

Contract Duration:
4 to 6 months, depending on project scope and timelines.
