Ready to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front? We're looking for a hands-on, operationally strong Financial Controller to drive performance in a fast-paced, heavy machinery and construction environment.
Join a well-established, high-impact company in the heavy machinery and construction sector — where finance meets the ground. This is not a desk-bound role. We need a leader who thrives in the field, engages with teams, and drives results through operational excellence.
You’ll be part of a dynamic middle management team, working closely with operations, finance, and key stakeholders. The role offers a hybrid work environment, occasional travel, and the chance to make a real difference.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage financial operations across multiple sites
Drive CAPEX planning, forecasting, and reporting
Oversee VAT, Tax, and Forex transactions with precision
Engage directly with operational teams to improve financial performance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: BCom minimum; Postgrad or Honours highly beneficial
Experience: 5+ years in finance, with strong exposure to operations, preferably in construction, engineering, or heavy industry
Skills:

Strong SA Tax and VAT knowledge
Forex and CAPEX management
Advanced Excel and ERP systems
Confident communicator with a strong personality and leadership presence

Other: Willingness to travel occasionally; hybrid work setup
